Do i have a chance with this boy ? ?

there is this boy i like at school, i told him how i felt and he said he wanted to get to no me better before committing to anything . its been a while now and we talk on msn every-night , but the thing is a friend told me that he likes another girl at a tennis club he goes to , she also happens to be tall blonde and have blue eyes witch is a real kcik in the teeth as im quite the oppisite . im really confused because when he talks to me i get the feeling he likes me and now im totally stuck on what to do , should i give up or not , please help. and if you have any-tips on getting him to like me more that'd be fab :D . thankyou x
