What would be the lowest price of an apartment to buy in either Danok or Haadyai in Thailand for a malaysian .?

Just want a simple one or two rooms apt.. No need to be in up market area. Its for resting & away from one home. Better for me to buy then rent as its only across the border. Any restriction for foreigner? Is there any web site on it?
