Will Spades ever be a Official Casino Game?

everywhere i go there is somebody that knows how to play spades. online games have it as the 2nd most popular card game behind poker and just above blackjack...(which is weird). so whats its gonna take to put some money on the table for some for some "books" or "bids"?
