Is "Life for me ain't been no crystal stair" a metaphor?

I'm doing some Language Arts homework right now and I need to know if "Life for me ain't been no crystal stair" is a metaphor or not. If it is not a metaphor please tell me what it is. By what it is I mean like simile, onance, consonance, etc.
